4 Healthy Resolutions for a Happy Pet New Year

During the Holiday Season across Cary and the Triangle, we begin to think about our New Year’s Resolutions and what we want to accomplish in 2017. This festive season, include the family pet in an array of resolutions for a happier, healthier new year. Pets can certainly benefit from an owners’ decision to exercise more, and there are a number of other resolutions that can be made as well that will affect the family pet more directly, making everyone happier!

At Paws in the City, our team of professionals encourages our pet owners to consider the following resolutions for the New Year:

  • Choose healthy food options: Just like humans, pets can benefit from the resolution to eat healthier. Paws in the City offers a wide range of natural and holistic foods for pets that can help to live healthier lives. Nutrition is important for pets. Make a resolution to get the family pet started on a natural, holistic diet!
  • Select natural supplements and treats: Adding natural supplements to those natural food options will provide even more benefits for a healthy pet. From salmon oil to dental chews, supplements and treats should be included in the New Year for happier, healthier pets!
  • Invest in training to have a well-behaved pet: Now is a great time to look into local pet training options in the Triangle. A well-trained pet is a happier pet! Local training organizations can help pets learn how to respond to voice commands and behave appropriately around strangers and family.
  • Visit a rescue organization: Local rescue organizations are a great resource for finding a new pet. Another great resolution for pet families to make is to volunteer or donate to these organizations. They can always use help taking care of their rescue pets!

Animals in the Triangle will be glad their owners made these resolutions for them. At Paws in the City, we wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. Stop in our store, conveniently located in Tryon Village in Cary, and check out our extensive line of natural and holistic foods for dogs and cats.
